Aquaman Actor Cast as Raphael in New NINJA TURTLES Movie

The first Ninja Turtle has officially been cast along side Megan Fox in the Jonathan Liebesman-directed film that's being produced by Michael Bay. The Hunger Games: Catching Fire co-star Alan Ritchson will be taking on the role of Raphael in the movie. This is the same actor that played Aquaman in Smallville.

It really doesn't matter what the actors for the Turtles look like because they will be shot using motion capture technology like Avatar and Tintin. The actors are basically being cast for their voice.

The movie is set to be released on May 16th, 2014, and they will be shooting on a budget of about $125 million.

The movie will use the same martial arts fighting style that we saw in The Raid, which is cool. All we can hope for at this point is that they've got a solid story and script that the fans are going to enjoy.
