For the past couple of months I’ve been trying to get more and more into MOBA games, but something has been holding me back. I’m not exactly sure why I couldn’t fully get myself into the games. Some may think that it’s because of the gameplay, but that’s not the case, it’s because of the storyline.
League of Legends is a great game, but I don’t really connect with the world and the characters. Same goes for the DOTA games. I’ve been playing Smite a lot because I like the various god mythologies that are presented in the game, along with the 3rd person camera angles. Now there is a new kid on the block in the MOBA scene, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and DC Entertainment’s Infinite Crisis.
Now if you’re like me, you are jumping for joy over the announcement of this. I mean, it’s DC characters, get excited people! Batman, Superman, Green Lantern, Joker…. everybody! But there is a twist. You will also see our beloved characters from alternate universes do battle. Many characters from across the multiverse will do battle, such as Nightmare Batman and Gaslight Catwoman. Judging from the trailer it will be a great time to get into MOBA games.
