AFTER EARTH - First TV Spot with New Footage
Sony Pictures has released the first TV spot for M. Night Shyamalan’s sci-fi adventure film After Earth, which stars Will Smith and Jaden Smith. The spot has a lot of great looking new footage. I'm cautiously optimistic about this movie. I hope it turns out to be good, but M. Night has made so many bad films that it's hard not to think that this is going to turn out being crap. Trailers can make the crappiest films look fantastic.
The film also stars Zoe Kravitz, Sophie Okonedo, and Isabelle Fuhrman, and it opens up on June 7th, 2013. Check out the spot, and let us know if you think M. Night will make a comeback with this one.
A crash landing leaves teenager Kitai Raige (Jaden Smith) and his legendary father Cypher (Will Smith) stranded on Earth, 1,000 years after cataclysmic events forced humanity’s escape. With Cypher critically injured, Kitai must embark on a perilous journey to signal for help, facing uncharted terrain, evolved animal species that now rule the planet, and an unstoppable alien creature that escaped during the crash.
