Keanu Reeves' MAN OF TAI CHI - First Images and Poster
Keanu Reeves is currently in the process of directing his first feature film Man of Tai Chi, in which he also plays the story's villain. The story follows "a young martial artist whose fighting skills brings him to a realm of vast opportunities, and painful choices." We now have our first look at the film featuring Reeves and the film's hero played by Tiger Hu Chen.
Reeves is incorporating a really cool camera technology into the film as well to help capture the 18 fight sequences, which will take up a solid 40-minutes of the film. He'll be using Bot & Dolly's Iris, the world's most advanced robotic motion control camera system in order to capture the action up close and personal with camera moves only possible before in video games and other CG environments. That should turn out pretty incredible, and I'm excited to see the results! To make things even better the fight scenes are being directed by renowned action choreographer Yuen Woo Ping (the Matrix Trilogy, Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon).
