Kevin Feige Confirms DAREDEVIL Rights Are Back at Marvel

After FOX failed to get a new Daredevil movie into production last year, the rights were supposed to revert back to Marvel. Marvel president Kevin Feige has confirmed that they do have the rights back! When Newsarama asked him about it at a recent Iron Man 3 press junket, he said,

To Daredevil? Yes.

I'm happy that Marvel has the rights to this character, but there's no word on what they plan on doing with it. It will be interesting to see if they eventually try to work him into their Marvel movie universe. If they have him, they might as well use him. I like Daredevil, and I've just been waiting for someone to come along and make a great movie. Directors David Slade and Joe Carnahan both had great visions for the movie that I would have loved to see.

I'm sure one day it will happen, but I think it's safe to say that day won't be anytime soon.
