Sharlto Copley Joins Neill Blomkamp's Sci-Fi Comedy CHAPPIE

This bit of news really isn't that surprising, but it's a good piece of news none-the-less. Director Neill Blomkamp launched Sharlto Copley's acting career with District 9. Copley also plays the villain in the director's upcoming movie Elysium. According to EW, Blomkamp is bringing the actor along for his third feature film adventure, which will be a sci-fi comedy called Chappie. 

At this point, all we know is that it's a sci-fi comedy that centers on a "really ridiculous robot." It will also be shot in the same visual style as his other films. 

It was also recently revealed that the South African rap-rave group Die Antwoord are going to play themselves in the film, which should be interesting.
