Brad Pitt Hints at WORLD WAR Z Sequels

World War Z turned out to be a pretty amazing zombie movie. I really enjoyed it, but with all of the story and production issues that the movie had with reshoots, rewrites, and budgetary issues, I figured any kind of sequel was out of the question. If the movie ends up doing well at the box office though, why wouldn't the studio make more films? I wouldn't mind seeing more films set in this apocalyptic zombie world. There have been rumors of a trilogy, and when asked about it, Brad Pitt replied with the following statement,

"There is enough to mine from the book. We could barely get a fraction of the book in. So we'll see. We'll see."

When director Marc Forster was asked if Pitt would return to reprise his role, he said,

"Hopefully, but let's see how things go."

My kids will tell you that if they ask me a question about doing something and I give them the "we'll see" answer it means yes. I'm not saying Pitt is saying yes, I'm just saying if the movie makes a lot of money then Paramount is going to want to capitalize on it and make more films. I hope we do see some more World War Z films.
