Jack Huston and Toby Kebbel Up for FRANKENSTEIN Role

Movie Frankenstein by Joey Paur

Jack Huston (Boardwalk Empire) and Toby Kebbel (RocknRolla) are up for the role of Victor Frankenstein in the new Frankenstein movie in development at FOX. This is the version in which Daniel Radcliff is playing Igor. Paul McGuigan is set to direct the film from a script by Max Landis (Chronicle).

The movie is described as a sci-fi take on the original Mary Shelley story, which focuses on themes of friendship and redemption. In a previous interview, Landis previously revealed that it will be a period piece told from the perspective of the character Igor, and all the interesting misconceptions surrounding the mythology of the story and character. The movie will also explore where Igor came from, and if Victor Frankenstein was actually a doctor or a drop out. It's also said to be a tale of friendship and redemption. Igor is also described as being pathologically dirty and dressed in old clown's clothing.

I'm actually kind of excited about this one. It's seems like it will be very different take on the story, and it looks like it's going to have a great cast. I'd be happy with Huston or Kebbel ending up in the role. I think they'd both be great in the role. What do you think?
