Plot Details for DOCTOR STRANGE Revealed!?

Since Marvel launched their cinematic universe I've been waiting to see Doctor Strange find his way to the big screen, and it's finally going to happen. Marvel is expected to make the official announcement at Comic-Con, but it looks like we don't have to wait for that to find out what the story will be about. Our friends at Latino-Review have a new scoop in which they reveal the plot details for the film, and if it turns out to be true... awesome!

They claim to have a lot of story information, so they are breaking up the details in several different parts. This is part one of their story reveal. They will be releasing the other parts leading up to San Diego Comic-Con.

Screenwriters Thomas Dean Donnelly and Joshua Oppenheimer wrote the movie, and according to inside sources the did a fantastic job and Marvel is excited. The movie will be an origin story, which isn't surprising. The general movie going audience isn't familiar with this character so as much as I don't like origin stories, I do understand why they are doing it. In the end it sounds like they are going to tell a great story, and I'm very excited about it!

According to CBM Marvel's plan for Strange is to make him the next big character that holds the Marvel cinematic universe together like Tony Stark/Iron Man. Here's what their source said:

"What I can say is that Strange is being groomed to be the next Iron Man. The studio needs a new 'hub' character going into Phase 3 and beyond, as there is audience fatigue, aging stars and a need to move from Tony Stark/Iron Man as a 'hub' for films."

They go on to say that Doctor Strange will be "making appearances in more films than just his own and potentially The Avenger 3."

I wouldn't watch the video below if you don't want the story spoiled for you, because they do offer up a lot of details. It's not a general plot synopsis, they hit several detailed points in the movie.

Now these details could easily change during the pre-development and production process once a director comes on board, but this gives us a good idea of what we can expect. Check it out!
