Prepare Yourselves for the NINJAGO LEGO Movie!
Warner Bros. is so excited about The LEGO Movie that they couldn't wait to get another LEGO film into development! The movie is called Ninjago, and it's based on the existing toy line, which has already spawned an animated series on Cartoon Network called Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu. Brothers Dan Hageman and Kevin Hageman will be writing the film. They received story-by credit on The LEGO Movie and also work on the animated series.
The animated series is set in the world of Ninjago, "a place inspired by Chinese and Japanese myths and culture and features dragons and mystical snakes like the Great Devourer. The main character is Kai, the red ninja of fire. The film will feature a new take that diverges from the TV series."
I'm not really familiar with the Ninjago toy line or animated series, but it sounds like it will make for a fun film. Do you like the idea of bringing Ninjago to the big screen?
