John Leguizamo's SUPER MARIO BROS 20th Anniversary Statement

John Leguizamo has many kind words for fans on the 20th anniversary of the Super Mario Brothers movie. I'm not quite sure which surprises me more though; that Leguizamo has kind words for the film, or that the movie still has fans. All the fond memories he shares hide the darker reports of several people who worked on the film; from the terrible production team to the battle between directors. There are even reports that Leguizamo himself was intoxicated throughout much of the filming of the movie. Perhaps this is why his experience is a bit different than other accounts.
