VERONICA MARS Movie Welcomes Back Wallace and Piz

Veronica Mars Alums Percy Daggs III and Chris Lowell have officially signed on to reprise their roles as Wallace Fennel and Stosh “Piz” Piznarski in the new movie currently in development. Creator Rob Thomas recently announced the news saying,

As so many of you wrote to remind me, Wallace’s friendship with Veronica has always been one of the foundations of the show. And now that he’s officially signed, I can admit that there was never a version of the script that didn’t include him. It just wouldn’t happen.

Daggs and Lowell join Kristen Bell, Jason Dohring (Logan), and Enrico Colantoni (Keith). According to Thomas we'll, be getting more casting announcements soon, so stay tuned!

The movie will start shooting soon, and it will have a presence at this year's San Diego Comic-Con. You can read more details on that here. 

Thomas previously revealed that "life has taken Veronica away from Neptune. In the years since spoiling Keith's chances to be reelected sheriff, Veronica hasn't taken a case. But something big is about to bring her back home and back to her calling." Veronica and her former classmates will be returning to Neptune for their 10-year high school reunion.
