Sam Rockwell Wants in on More Marvel Movies and S.H.I.E.L.D.
You can never have too much of Sam Rockwell. The guy is a talented actor and an awesome guy. I've been hoping to see his character Justin Hammer show up again in the Marvel cinematic universe. I don't think there are any plans for it at this time, but Marvel should at least consider it, especially because that Rockwell wants to do it! He wants more Marvel action!
In a recent interview with Vulture, Rockwell was asked about coming back into the Marvel fold, possibly in the TV series Agents of S.H.I.E.LD., and he's actually down with the idea! Here's what he said,
Ah! I was hoping to come back in one of the Avengers films and come after Gwyneth Paltrow, because that's what they set up, that I was going to get revenge on Gwyneth for getting me arrested or something. I could do a Cape Fear thing with Gwyneth. But they've got a lot of mojo in there already, so I don't know if they need another pirate like me in the mix there! [Laughs.] Maybe S.H.I.E.L.D. is the way to go.
Whether it's S.H.I.E.D. or another Marvel movie I want to see Rockwell back as Hammer. Do you think the studio should bring back the character in some capacity?
