New Poster for Spike Lee's OLDBOY Remake

"Ask not why you were imprisoned. Ask why you were set free."

Here's a new poster for Spike Lee's upcoming Oldboy remake, which stars Josh Brolin, Elizabeth Olsen, and Sharlto Copley. This is one of the craziest revenge stories ever, and I'm curious to see how Lee handled it. This new poster for the film features an actual shot from the film, and it's got an interesting look and tone. We'll get a better idea of what's in store for us on Wednesday when the first trailer is released.

OLDBOY is a provocative, visceral thriller that follows the story of an advertising executive (Josh Brolin) who is abruptly kidnapped and held hostage for 20 years in solitary confinement. When he is inexplicably released, he embarks on an obsessive mission to discover who orchestrated his bizarre and torturous punishment only to find he is still trapped in a web of conspiracy and torment.

The movie is set to be released on October 25th.  While I hate that this movie got remade, at the same time I'm very curious to see how it's going to turn out. Hopefully it turns out better than what I'm expecting.

What kind of thoughts went through your head when you first saw this poster?
