Stellan Skarsgard to Join CINDERELLA

Stellan Skarsgard will reteam with Thor director Kenneth Branagh for the live action adaptation of Cinderella. He joins Lily James (Downton Abby) in the title role, Cate Blanchett as the wicked stepmother, and Richard Madden (Game of Thrones) as the prince. Then there's Helena Bonham Carter as the Fairy Godmother, as well as Holliday Granger (The Borgias) and Sophie McShera (Downton Abbey), who are playing the stepsisters.

According to THR, Skarsgard will play the grand duke, the king’s adviser, "who just may have ulterior motives." Skarsgard is a talented actor, and he'll make a great addition to the film.
