New OLDBOY Photo - Josh Brolin Is Hammer Happy
Josh Brolin looks extremely pissed off in the new photo from Spike Lee's Oldboy remake. Word on the internet is the hammer fight scene in this film is going to be even more brutal than in the original film, and that Brolin did it himself with no stunt double.
It sounds intriguing, but but I've also been hearing recently that the movie as a whole is mediocre, which is what I think most of us expected. But who knows? maybe if our expectations for the film are at rock bottom, it will end up being better than we thought. I doubt it, but this guy seemed to enjoy it.
OLDBOY is a provocative, visceral thriller that follows the story of an advertising executive (Josh Brolin) who is abruptly kidnapped and held hostage for 20 years in solitary confinement. When he is inexplicably released, he embarks on an obsessive mission to discover who orchestrated his bizarre and torturous punishment only to find he is still trapped in a web of conspiracy and torment.
The movie comes out on October 25th, 2013.
