Arnold Schwarzenegger Joins James Cameron's AVATAR Sequel
James Cameron is preparing to jump into production on his three Avatar sequels. The next films will obviously take place after the events of the first movie, and Sam Worthington and Zoe Saldana are set to reprise their roles. According to Cameron, the humans will be back to cause some more problems with Na'vi. His exact words were "nasty humans," and now thanks to Latino-Review, we know who one of those nasty humans will be… Arnold Schwarzenegger!
They say that he will play a villainous human general. Schwarzenegger hasn't worked with Cameron in more than 20 years, so it's going to be awesome to see the two teaming back up to create another badass movie! Cameron helped take Schwarzenegger's career to a new level with Terminator, and the rest is history. As much as I loved the Terminator movies, my favorite movie that the two worked on together was True Lies.
Since Schwarzenegger retired from politics, he's had a hard time getting his career back on track with films like The Expendables 2 and The Last Stand. He's got another movie that I'm looking forward to called Ten, which was directed by David Ayer, but working with Cameron again might just be the boost that his career needs to really get him back in the game.
I couldn't be more excited to see these two guys working together again! What do you think about it?
