James Cameron Says GRAVITY Is the "Best Space Film Ever"
Avatar director James Cameron is throwing out some very high praise for Alfonso Cuaron's upcoming sci-fi film, Gravity. If you've seen the trailers, then you already know how awesomely intense this movie looks. The movie has already been getting amazing reviews, but in a Variety profile on the film, Cameron says that it's the best space film that has ever been made.
"I was stunned, absolutely floored. I think it’s the best space photography ever done, I think it’s the best space film ever done, and it’s the movie I’ve been hungry to see for an awful long time. What is interesting is the human dimension. Alfonso and Sandra working together to create an absolutely seamless portrayal of a woman fighting for her life in zero gravity."
Cameron did help out Cuaron on the film along with David Fincher, so maybe he's a little bit biased, but I think the director is honest about what he's saying. After all, everyone who has seen the movie has absolutely loved it. You should read the full article because there's a ton of interesting stuff on the movie and how it all came together.
The movie comes out on October 4th, and I can't wait to be able to see it for myself!
