A Marvel Fan Recast CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR Through Different Decades
One of the biggest strengths of Kevin Feige's reign at Marvel Studios has been casting. Feige has proven himself to be one of the most influential people in Hollywood with the way he built Marvel from a little production company into one of the true power players in global cinema, but filling all of those movies with the right people for all of those roles is a tremendous challenge in its own right, and he and his collaborators have been spot-on for nearly every major role.
But imagine for a moment that these movies didn't begin in 2008 with Iron Man. Imagine if they started in decades long past, filled with movie stars of a different era. If Feige had this plan then and the system allowed him to try to achieve the same goals, which actors would he have chosen to fill out the cast of Captain America: Civil War? Reddit user thamonsta (via GeekxGirls) has some suggestions, and I really dig the choices from the '70s and '80s. (Real-life brothers Emilio Estevez and Charlie Sheen seem like particularly excellent choices for Cap and Bucky). What do you think?
