Aaron Eckhart and Devon Sawa Teaming Up For Crime Thriller THIEVES HIGHWAY
Aaron Eckhart and Devon Sawa are set to star alongside each other in the upcoming crime thriller film project Thieves Highway.
Eckhart takes on the role of an Oklahoma Stock Detective “in over his head in the Breaking Bad world of modern cattle rustling. Eckhart and Johnson previously collaborated on Vertical’s Chief of Station which is currently in theaters and streaming.”
The movie comes from director and ex-stuntman Jesse V. Johnson (Chief of Station, Avengement), who says: “Thieves Highway is a passion project, for Aaron and me.
“We spent a lot of time developing Travis Mills’ script, embracing factual anecdotes and actual characters to flesh out a vibrant and action-packed modern crime story.”
Producer Corey Large (One Ranger) added: “Aaron is creating a unique brand starring in high-quality genre pictures, joining the likes of Liam Neeson and Mel Gibson, and we are excited to be part of enhancing that profile with Thieves Highway.
“Jesse’s background in stunts ensures that audiences will experience the story as though they are in the middle of the action.”
Kirk Shaw (The Hurt Locker, Papa Hemingway in Cuba, Extraction), Jordan Nott (Assassination, Cold DeckI) and Jon Keeyes (White Elephant) are executive producing.
