ADHD’s Unexpectedly Heartfelt Studio Ghibli Tribute

As we’ve previously reported, Studio Ghibli is currently having financial issues and may cease production. There has, of course, been an outcry from fans over the sad news that the animation studio may close up shop. The most touching tribute so far, however, has come from a very unexpected place… Fox’s Animation Domination High-Def. ADHD is mostly known for skewering properties, with their Scientifically Accurate Spongebob Squarepants video and their imagining of a Michael Bay-directed Beavis and Butthead. So this genuine and heartwarming message to Studio Ghibli is pleasantly surprising, and it still manages to be humorous in the process.

A few weeks ago, Studio Ghibli announced that they were taking a break from film production. While they haven't made a final decision, it's possible that "When Marnie Was There" will be their last feature film. Animators the world over have been inspired by Ghibli films; this is Animation Domination High-Def's small tribute to Studio Ghibli.
