ALMOST CHRISTMAS Trailer: Danny Glover is Too Old For This Sh*t
Universal has unveiled a new poster, trailer, and a handful of images for Almost Christmas, a new holiday family comedy starring Danny Glover, Mo'Nique, JB Smoove, and many more. It seems like a typical Christmas movie farce in which a large family gathers together and chaos ensues, but — and I feel like I'm saying this more and more these days — I'd recommend only watching the first half of this trailer, because the back half gives away what appears to be one of the movie's dramatic twists. A new comedy from writer/director David E. Talbert (Baggage Claim) and producer Will Packer (Ride Along, Think Like a Man series, This Christmas), Almost Christmas tells the festive story of a beloved patriarch who asks his family for one gift this holiday season: to get along. If they can honor that wish and spend five days under the same roof without killing one another, it will be a Christmas miracle.
The all-star cast of Almost Christmas is led by Kimberly Elise, Danny Glover, John Michael Higgins, Romany Malco, Mo’Nique, JB Smoove, Gabrielle Union, Omar Epps, Nicole Ari Parker, Jessie T. Usher and DC Young Fly.
Almost Christmas hits theaters on November 11, 2016.
