Amazon Makes TRANSPARENT Free To Watch This Saturday Only

I finally caught up with Orange is the New Black, and I've been debating which new series I'm going to start watching next. I've heard nothing but great things about Transparent, which just won the Golden Globe for Best Comedy, but since I don't have an Amazon Prime account, I had to push that one aside. But now, thanks to Amazon, I can un-push it aside: the studio/retailer just announced that they'll be making the show free to watch for everyone — Prime account or not — this coming Saturday, January 24th. The catch? It'll only be available for 24 hours...just enough time for you to get hooked and want to subscribe to Prime to get new episodes.

I'm going to try my best to carve out some time to binge-watch the show this weekend. There are 10 half-hour episodes in the first season, and it sounds like it'll be worth the time spent catching up. Let me know if you've seen the show (and what you think about it) in the comments below. Here's the synopsis of the show, in case you don't know the premise:

An LA family with serious boundary issues have their past and future unravel when a dramatic admission causes everyone's secrets to spill out.
