Angel Vs. The Blob in Photo from X-MEN: APOCALYPSE, Plus New Banners and Behind the Scenes Photos
Director Bryan Singer has released a new photo from X-Men: Apocalypse featuring Angel (Ben Hardy) standing over The Blob, who is lying flat on his back. Looks to me like Angel beat the hell out of him in an underground mutant vs. mutant cage fight. The caption of the photo reads, "Mutant Martial Arts. Light as a feather."
The Blob made his big screen debut in X-Men Origins: Wolverine, in which he was played by actor Kevin Durand (Vikings). This looks like a much better version of the character as it doesn’t look like he’s wearing any prosthetics. There’s no information on how big of a role he’ll have in the story, but I imagine this cage match will be the extent of it.
