Angelina Jolie in Talks To Board MURDER ON THE ORIENT EXPRESS Remake

Looks like the Orient Express just gained an A-list passenger.

Variety reports that Angelina Jolie is in early talks to join 20th Century Fox's remake of Murder on the Orient Express, a murder mystery based on Agatha Christie's 1934 novel of the same name. 

The story follows detective Hercule Poirot as he attempts to solve the murder of an American businessman that occurred on a cross-country train. The 1974 film starred Albert Finney, Ingrid Bergman, Sean Connery, Lauren Bacall, Anthony Perkins, and many more, so it makes sense that Fox would try to bring in actors of similar star value for the remake.

Kenneth Branagh is directing and starring as Poirot, and he's currently the only actor officially confirmed for the project. Branagh, Ridley Scott, Simon Kinberg, and Mark Gordon are producing. As of right now, the film has a release date scheduled for November 22, 2017. Check out the trailer for the '74 movie below:
