Artist Creates Stylized Illustrations of Movie Characters' Outfits

You just have to see this interesting series of stylized illustrations of some of the most popular outfits worn by movie stars in productions such as Harry Potter, The Hunger Games, The Terminator, and more.

Fred Birchal, a Brazilian artist from Belo Horizonte, has decided to experiment with the regular looks of well-known characters’ costumes and redesigned them in what I’d like to describe as "geometrical style." Somehow these proportions reminded me of the graphics of those video games from the '80s or '90s developed by Nintendo EAD.

Printed copies of Birchal’s images can be purchased online from his Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences for the “Hollywood Costumes” exhibition. There is also a deck of cards with the artist's variants of the outfits.
