ASSASSIN'S CREED UNITY - Gameplay Footage and Impressions

At XBOX's E3 press conference today the entire audience was wowed by the gameplay reveal of Assassin's Creed Unity. I have very odd feelings when it comes to Assassin's Creed. I hate Ezio (he talks waaaay too much), I have played them all but the only ones I actually enjoyed were the first, Revelations, and 3. Black Flag focused too much on naval combat but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't excited for Unity. I originally had no interest in the game, that is until we got a chance to see this stunning gameplay debut.

I have no idea what the present day story is and for the first time I don't really care, I actually hope Ubisoft just drops that. We don't need an explanation for why we are in the past... it's a freaking video game. Ubisoft also showed off some single player gameplay, it reminded me a lot of Grand Theft Auto and Watch Dogs as there seems to be a ton of stuff to do without getting repetitive. Unity is exclusively next gen with Assassin's Creed: Comet coming out for XBOX 360 and PS3.
