AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON Update from Olsen, Taylor-Johnson, and Ruffalo

Over the last few days three of the stars of Avengers 2: Age of Ultron have been very busy promoting other films. Like any good reporter would, interviewers have slipped in questions about the upcoming Marvel production.

While talking with Cover Media to promote Godzilla, Elizabeth Olsen was asked what the Scarlet Witch is like. This is what she had to say:

"My character is incredible and absolutely out of her mind.

"[She's] incredibly passionate and thinks shes in control more than she actually is. Shes stubborn and an epic woman who has not been created by a human yet. So its really fun to be a part of that and try and honour fans."

Promoting Godzilla with Moviefone, Olsen and her Godzilla/Avengers co-star Aaron Taylor-Johnson were quick on their feet when asked about Age of Ultron.

Olsen: It's so fun. I'm laughing all the time. The crazy thing is that it's like, I'm throwing sh*t with my hands, that's cuckoo! But it's also like, We're saving lives. And it's very serious. There's always that reminder that it's very serious.

Will you guys be in full costume by the end of the movie!

[in unison]
Olsen: Can't talk about it! [laughs]
Taylor-Johnson: Can't say!

We've seen enough of these movies to know that you're going to be in a suit by the end of it.

Olsen: Well, we're not part of the team, so it's not the same thing...

But you're new Avengers, right?

Taylor-Johnson: Can't say.

God, this is so frustrating.

Olsen: But it's fun for us.

As much fun as it is to get info before anyone else, I am glad that Olsen and Taylor-Johnson keep the lid on things. I am a huge fan of what Marvel is doing right now. Their movies are fun and the stories are exciting. Yes, I know that they are going to follow story arcs that are already established, but I still don’t want to know too much before May 2nd, 2015.

Meanwhile, Mark Ruffalo took some time out from filming in London to be at the premiere of another film in New York. Access Hollywood caught up with the man who plays the mean green smashing machine and asked him how the production was going. This is what he had to say:

"It's been pretty wild [getting those dots back on my face for Hulk]. The technology is really advanced, so we can do a lot more with the Hulk performance in particular than we could last time around. So I'm really excited about the stuff we're doing right now with him and I feel like he's got some really nice nuance stuff; kind of his own little arc(s?). The [Bruce] Banner stuff is great. Joss Whedon topped himself. It's such a great, beautifully written script and really exciting and fun"

I am really excited to see what director Joss Whedon has in store for us in the next installment of the Avengers. What are you looking forward to the most/least in Avengers 2: Age of Ultron?
