Awesome Fan-Made Art of Keira Knightley as Cable in DEADPOOL Sequel
If you stuck around through the second Deadpool post-credits scene, you'll remember that Ryan Reynolds, dressed in a Ferris Bueller-style bathrobe, addresses the audience and promises that Cable will show up in the sequel. He admits that they don't know who will play him yet, but offers a few suggestions: Mel Gibson, Dolph Lundgren, and Keira Knightley.
BossLogic has taken that suggestion to heart and created a shockingly cool depiction of what Knightley might look like in the role of the time-traveling badass.
I'm surprised at how well that turned out, and though I don't think there's any way Fox would actually cast her in the role, fans also didn't think there was any way an R-rated Deadpool movie would ever get made, either. At this point, anything's possible. (Can you imagine if they actually cast her as Cable? Stephen Lang would be pissed.)
