Batman is "In Cаhооts" with a Surprising Character Against Superman in BATMAN V SUPERMAN

In a recent interview with Empire, Henry Cavill revealed a surprising bit of information regarding Ben Affleck's Batman in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. As we get closer to the release date, we are seeing more and more little details regarding the story, but nothing that is completely ruining it.

One of the more interesting things Cavill revealed is an individual that Bruce Wayne a.k.a. Batman has teamed up with against Superman. There are minor SPOILERS ahead. Before I get to that information, though, the actor spoke about Superman and how he has embraced being a superhero since we last saw him.

“He’s more used to this gig, doing his best to save as many lives as he can. He is no longer frantic. He’s no longer a wet behind the ears kind of superhero.”

However, he is motivated to take down Batman. He's not on board with how the Caped Crusader is fighting crime, so at first, he takes on Batman as a journalist. We all know where that eventually leads!

“He doesn’t agree with his form of justice. For this farm boy, who tries to do things the right way, justice at any cost is not something he can come to terms with.”

By using The Daily Planet, he hopes to “show the world what this Batman dude is doing.” Didn't Superman destroy a whole city full of innocent people who were collateral damage during his battle with Zod? He must have put killing all of those people behind him. Cavill goes on to say:

"So it's about two heroes who can be seen as heroic and villainous, and when you look at the double-edged sword of that, different people will come away looking at it very differently. Rather than just Alien vs. Predator, where you have two monsters and they're gonna fight, you have two people who really truly believe they are doing something heroic and necessary in their conflict."

OK, now we'll get into some SPOILER territory. To help take down Superman, Batman teams up with Lex Luthor! The magazine reveals:

"Eisenberg's Luthor and Batman will be in cahoots against this Kryptonian godhead."

That obviously doesn't work out for anyone in the end. I'm sure Wayne's intentions are good at first, but I think it's safe to say that Lex is going to take advantage of him. As for Clark Kent, he's not too concerned with Lex at first:

"He knows who this Lex Luthor chap is, but he certainly wouldn't assume that he had any bad intentions."

We all know that Batman has bad intentions for Superman, as we've seen in the trailer; he makes it very clear that he's after him. Batman v Superman will hit theaters on March 25th, 2016.
