BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE Trailer Officially Unleashed
Last night, a bootleg of the Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice trailer leaked online. Because of that, Warner Bros. was kind of forced into a position to officially release it. It wasn't supposed to be released until Monday, but now it's arrived in all of it's very dark and moody glory.
After the bootleg version of the trailer spread like wildfire on the Internet, it was followed by a lot of dissatisfied fans — at least more than I expected to see. There were some people who liked it, though! Personally, the trailer got me excited!
As many of you know, the film is loosely based off of Frank Miller's The Dark Knight Returns, so of course the movie is going to have a serious, dark, and gritty feel to it. This is exactly what I was expecting to see, and I'm looking forward to seeing more!
As for Ben Affleck as Batman, he looks great! We have yet to see how he is really going to handle the role. I've read several complaints regarding his voice at the end of the trailer, but I liked the badass tone. It's different from any other incarnation of Batman and, in my mind, that's a good thing.
Now let's just hope that Zack Snyder and the rest of the creative tell a great story, because that's what matters the most. Batman v Superman hits theaters on March 25th, 2016.
