BATMAN VS. SUPERMAN - Info on Batman's Costume and Batmobile
Some potential details have leaked regarding Ben Affleck's Batman in Zack Snyder's Batman Vs. Superman. There's information on the Batmobile that he'll be driving around and the costume he'll wear, specifically the style of his cowl.
Let's start out with the costume design, which is something we've all been curious about, especially since Snyder has created his own look and style for this universe.
According to CBM the "current cowl designs resemble the Caped Crusader's look in Batman: Noël. Which is a 2011 graphic novel written and illustrated by Lee Bermejo, based on Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol. They also explored concepts that looked like Injustice: Gods Among Us designs, but ultimately passed on those because they were too similar to Nolan's costume."
The look of this cowl definitely seems like it fits in with Snyder's universe. They go on to offer a few details on the Batmobile, saying that "General Motors is working on the Batmobile designs," and that "production designer Nathan Crowley, and engineers Chris Culvert and Andy Smith, have been consulting on the designs. All three previously worked on Nolan's Batman trilogy. They were responsible for converting Nolan's crude Play-Doh design of the Tumbler into the Lamborghini/tank-like vehicle that it became." They go on to say that ideas are still being discussed, but "not to be surprised if some elements from the Tumbler are incorporated into the final design."
I'm excited to see what these designs end up looking like. Do you think the look of the cowl they are going for is a good one?
