Bill Murray Croons in New Trailer and Photos For Netflix's A VERY MURRAY CHRISTMAS
Is there anyone out there who doesn't like Bill Murray? He's a multi-talented performer, loves pulling pranks and doing the unexpected, and might be one of the most charming people on the planet. He's right up there with Tom Hanks as being practically impossible to despise.
I'm a big fan of Murray's, and Christmas is my favorite time of the year, so I'm thrilled about the upcoming Netflix special A Very Murray Christmas, which reunites the actor with his Lost in Translation director Sofia Coppola. We saw a brief teaser for the special a few months ago, but it didn't really give us a sense of what the actual final product would be like; now Netflix has released a new trailer that features Murray crooning the classic Christmas tune "Let It Snow" and some footage of him hanging out with a bunch of cool people like George Clooney, Amy Poehler, Rashida Jones, Chris Rock, and tons more. We also have a release date: December 4th.
This might become annual Christmas viewing in my house. Are you looking forward to it as much as I am?
This winter, Bill Murray brings an extra-special dose of holiday cheer to Netflix with the premiere of an all-star musically-driven holiday special, A Very Murray Christmas. Set inside New York City’s iconic Carlyle hotel, A Very Murray Christmas opens with Murray preparing to host a live, international holiday broadcast. After a blizzard shuts down the production, he makes the best of the situation by singing and celebrating with friends, hotel employees and anyone else who drops by.
