BLACK MIRROR Season 3 Gets a Disturbing New Trailer, and Season 4 Announced
After finally catching up with Charlie Brooker's dark, subversive tech-based TV series Black Mirror, I've been anxiously awaiting the arrival of new episodes to Netflix. We've seen images, story details, and found out who's going to be starring in and directing each of the six new episodes, but now Netflix has finally unveiled a trailer for the upcoming third season, and it's just as disturbing as fans would expect. This show sort of makes me despair a little bit for the state of humanity, but it's undeniably intelligent, gorgeous, and well-acted, so I'm totally going to watch these when they drop.
Black Mirror executive producer Annabel Jones was at an early screening of these episodes at the London Film Festival, and she confirmed that a fourth season was on the way as well (via RadioTimes):
"When you're ready to do the next series you do [it]. Thankfully Netflix loved the show, stepped in and commissioned six films. So that allows us to play out on a bigger canvas, and take more risks, explore worlds without destabilising the Black Mirror sensibility...It's great. And we've got another season coming up too."
Six brand new episodes of Black Mirror arrive on October 21, 2016.
