Bryan Cranston Wants to Play a "Nasty" Marvel Villain
Anyone want to see Bryan Cranston play a Marvel villain!? I know I would! It would be so cool to see him take on a villainous role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Not only is this something that a lot of his fans would love to see, but Cranston himself wants to see it happen! In an interview with Metro, at the London Film Festival premiere of his new movie Trumbo, the actor said:
"You know what I'd like to do? I'd like to do some big superhero villain in some Marvel classic. Create one from scratch… I don’t know what I would do but it would be nasty."
Marvel Studio president Kevin Feige always seems like he's up to date on all the internet fan talk, and he does see when certain actors and actresses say they are interested in jumping into the Marvel universe. Who knows, maybe this comment from Cranston could eventually lead to a meeting. When talking about the casting process for Marvel films, Feige has said:
"For us, it's sitting down with people and starting to meet people and as the script takes shape and as we start to build who the character should be and finding the right person to match it up. We haven't necessarily started sitting down with people yet and meeting on that part."
With so many Marvel movies in the works, I'm sure that they could find a villain for Cranston to take on somewhere down the road. Are there any Marvel villains that you think Cranston would be perfect for?
