CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR Directors Want Deadpool in the MCU

We’ve been hearing a lot of talk from Deadpool director Tim Miller and producer Simon Kinberg about bringing Spider-Man into Deadpool and Fox’s X-Men cinematic universe. Now the directors of Captain America: Civil War, Joe and Anthony Russo, are saying that they’d love to see Deadpool in the MCU.

The directors and writers of Civil War recently did a Q&A with Screen Junkies while analyzing the Honest Trailer for Captain America: The Winter Soldier. During the Q&A, Deadpool was brought up, and Joe Russo said:

"He's (Anthony) seen Deadpool, I have not. Tim Miller is a very good friend of ours.”

As you know Miller has done a lot of work with Marvel through his animation group Blur Studios. That led to the question of if they thought Deadpool would ever crossover into the MCU and this is what Joe said:

"We'd love to see Deadpool jump into the MCU. But that's probably all I have to say about that."

Anthony added:

"Yeah, yeah, The great thing about Marvel is that there is an attitude of nothing's impossible... but that doesn't mean everything is possible. You just have to chase it."

We already know that Miller is chasing it, and if the Russo bros. are friends with him, it’s safe to say they’ve talked about the possibility together. Now all we need is for Marvel Studios and Fox Studios to actually talk about it and make it happen. Obviously, everyone else involved with the movies on both ends wants it!
