CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR Trailer Recut With Spider-Man

One of the things fans were really hoping to see in the Captain America: Civil War trailer was Spider-Man swinging his way around New York City. Well, Spider-Man was completely absent from it, so ComicBook.com went ahead and recut the trailer with some footage from the previous Spider-Man films.

I wonder if Marvel is going to keep Spider-Man completely under wraps until the movie is released, just like Lucasfilm is doing with Luke Skywalker in Star Wars: The Force Awakens. If not, I think they should! Just keep Spider-Man out of all the promotion materials, and let it be a surprise to the audience.

I don’t think Marvel will do that, though. They kind of like to show off all the cool stuff in the movies that they make. While we wait for the new Spider-Man to show up somewhere, you can watch the recut Civil War trailer below.

Captain America: Civil War opens in theaters May 6th, 2016.

Despite his debut coming in Civil War, Spider-Man wasn't featured in the first trailer. Here's what it might have looked like if he was! Edited by Brandon Davis.
