Charlize Theron Wanted for the Villain in FAST 8

According to Deadline, Fast 8 is going to have a female villain, and the studio is currently looking to cast Charlize Theron in the role, which would be insanely awesome! I would love to see her as a villain in the Fast & Furious franchise. If she's cast they should call the film Fast & Furiosa.

The report says that director "F. Gary Gray and screenwriter Chris Morgan are inserting a fierce female villain into the story." It's not surprising that they would want to get Theron on board because she's proven that she's as fierce as fierce can get! Mad Max: Fury Road proved that.

Theron doesn't have any other conflicting projects, so if she wants the role it seems like it would be hers for the taking. Gray and Theron previously worked together on The Italian Job, so with that established working relationship it seems like her joining Fast 8 is very feasible. I hope she takes the gig!

Fast 8 lands in theaters April 14th, 2017.
