Colin Trevorrow Starts Work on STAR WARS: EPISODE IX
In case you missed it, earlier this week, Jurassic World director Colin Trevorrow posted a photo of a Lucasfilm notebook with the caption, “Back to school. #IX”. The director has obviously started the long road to developing the third film in the upcoming trilogy. I really hope that this trilogy isn’t the last that we see of these characters. There’s no doubt that it’s going to wrap a lot of things up with Luke, Han and Leia, but I’d still like to see this saga continue. In the meantime, we’ve got J.J. Abrams’ Star Wars: The Force Awakens coming out later this year, and Rian Johnson’s Star Wars: Episode VIII coming in 2017. Episode IX will be released in 2019.
