Cool Video Spotlights Changes to The Walt Disney Pictures Logo Over The Years
1985's The Black Cauldron was a financial disaster for Disney when it was released, but the film is also notable for being the first to feature the iconic Walt Disney Pictures logo in front of it. The logo remained the same for ten years until Toy Story switched things up with a CG version that appeared to be 3D, and then all bets were off: tons of films have since provided variations on the intro logo, and this video compiles them all (while occasionally providing a bit of info about the changes). It goes from The Black Cauldron all the way to last year's Into the Woods, so there's almost 30 years of intro magic on display here. Disney fans should enjoy this trip down memory lane.
