Creepy Little Samara Haunts the New Poster for RINGS; New Trailer Coming This Week
Samara will be back to kill more people in her latest sequel Rings. We have a new poster featuring the character giving everything she's got to look as terrifying as possible. The thing is... we've seen it all before. People watch her amateur film school art project, and it's so bad that seven days later they die.
Don't get me wrong, I love this horror franchise, and the first film was freakin' great! I just don't think this new sequel is going to give us anything different from what we've already seen, except this one will use technology beyond VHS tapes.

A new chapter in the beloved RING horror franchise. A young woman becomes worried about her boyfriend when he explores a dark subculture surrounding a mysterious videotape said to kill the watcher seven days after he has viewed it. She sacrifices herself to save her boyfriend and in doing so makes a horrifying discovery: there is a “movie within the movie” that no one has ever seen before…
Rings is being directed by F. Javier Gutierrez (Before the Fall) from a script by David Loucka, Jacob Estes and Akiva Goldsman. The moive stars Matilda Lutz, Alex Roe, Johnny Galecki, Aimee Teegarden, Bonnie Morgan, and Vincent D’Onofrio.
