Dave Bautista Prays For an AVENGERS and GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY Crossover
If an Avengers and Guardians of the Galaxy crossover film happens, it’s not going to happen anytime soon. From everything that we’ve heard from Kevin Feige and James Gunn, it’s something that just isn’t in the plans right now. Who knows, though. Maybe one day it will happen. In a recent interview with Screen Rant, Dave Bautista gushes over how much he would love to see that crossover happen. In fact, he prays about it all the time! When asked about the crossover he laughed and said:
"Yeah, come on, man. Hell yeah. Yeah, of course I would. At the core of me is the biggest geek you’ve ever met. I’m a superhero fan first and foremost, and…of course, man, I want that to happen. It’s rumors right now, but, you know, I pray every day… and night, and afternoon, and after you walk out the door I’ll go pray and say, 'Please let Drax be in ‘The Avengers.’ ” [Laughter] Yeah, I hope it’ll happen."
The next time we’ll see Bautista as Drax on the big screen is in Guardians of the Galaxy 2. After that, who knows when we’ll exactly see him in the Marvel universe. I imagine it won’t happen until Guardians of the Galaxy 3, when or if that ever happens. Hell, maybe it's one of the three untitled films that Marvel announced earlier this week.
