DEADPOOL Officially Slapped With an R-Rating, Plus a "Pretty Little 'Poolers'" TV Spot

We already heard that director Tim Miller was going for an R-rated Deadpool, but the MPAA has now made it official! The movie is rated R for "strong violence and language throughout, sexual content and graphic nudity" and saving cats from trees? This is what Deadpool fans wanted, so are you happy now!?

I also included a new TV spot for Deadpool, which is called "Pretty Little 'Poolers.'" It's light on new footage, but it's still entertaining! There are also a couple new photos below the TV spot from the film that have surfaced online as well.

Deadpool hits theaters on February 12th!

Based upon Marvel Comics' most unconventional anti-hero, DEADPOOL tells the origin story of former Special Forces operative turned mercenary Wade Wilson, who after being subjected to a rogue experiment that leaves him with accelerated healing powers, adopts the alter ego Deadpool.
