Deadpool Reads Judy Blume in an Effort to Connect with Negasonic Teenage Warhead
Ryan Reynolds has shared another image from Deadpool. It similar to a photo we've seen in the past, but this one amusingly shows the Merc with a Mouth reading Judy Blume's Are You There God? It’s Me, Margaret. The image came with the caption, "#tryingtoconnect." The anti-hero is obviously trying to understand his young sidekick, Negasonic Teenage Warhead, who is played by Brianna Hildebrand. Hopefully, it works for him!
Based upon Marvel Comics’ most unconventional anti-hero, Deadpool tells the origin story of former Special Forces operative turned mercenary Wade Wilson, who after being subjected to a rogue experiment that leaves him with accelerated healing powers, adopts the alter ego Deadpool. Armed with his new abilities and a dark, twisted sense of humor, Deadpool hunts down the man who nearly destroyed his life.
Tim Miller directed the movie from a script by Zombieland writers Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick. Deadpool is scheduled to blow up in theaters on February 12th, 2016.
