Death of Wolverine Variant Art - "Life after Logan"
I have a couple pieces of new Death of Wolverine variant comic cover art for you to check out today. The first piece (above) is called "Life after Logan," and it was created by Julian Totino Tedesco. The piece has a very somber feel to it, and it depicts four of the X-Men in mourning the death of their badass ally, and an image of him hangs over them in the clouds.
Marvel Comics Editor-in-Chief Axel Alonso discussed the character's death in an interview with CBR.
"This is a long-term plan. He's dead. Our plans, well, let's just say that if they fans don't like a Wolverine-free Marvel Universe, we can't fix that quickly. [Editor] Mike [Marts] and his team have a very complex and exciting plan to fill the Wolverine-sized hole in the Marvel Universe… that better work out! [Laughs]"
I also included another cool piece of variant art for Death of Wolverine #4 that was created by Greg Land. It takes us through more of a history of the character.
