Director Matthew Vaughn Says New FANTASTIC FOUR Reboot Is "Good"

Matthew Vaughn, the director of Kick-Ass and X-Men: First Class, has seen Josh Trank's upcoming Fantastic Four reboot, and he thinks that it's "good."

The director is currently out doing press for his cool new action film, Kingsman: The Secret Service, and in an interview with Flickering Myth he shared what he thought of Fantastic Four.

“I’ve seen the movie, it’s good. I thought Chronicle was a fantastic movie and [Josh] Trank has gone off and done his version of Fantastic Four. If you like Chronicle, then you’ll like this. We’re all backing Josh Trank’s vision. And hopefully the world will like Josh Trank’s vision.”

His lack of enthusiasm doesn't seem very encouraging. He thought that Chronicle was fantastic and that Fantastic Four was only good. Now, I only thought Chronicle was ok, does that mean mean Fantastic Four is just at least going to be ok? I hope not!

I know there has been a lot of fan hate surrounding the new Fantastic Four movie, but I hope that it turns out better than we're expecting. I'd love to see a kickass Fantastic Four movie! But when you hear a director say that it's only "good," than maybe that's where we should set out expectations. Thoughts?
