Duncan Jones Has Wrapped Production on WARCRAFT
Director Duncan Jones announced on Twitter that he has wrapped production on his epic fantasy adventure film, Warcraft!
"Final day on Warcraft now officially... wrapped!! Off to bed for 3 hours before a meeting in the AM. Goodnight/good morning twitter!"
The Wrap reports the shoot was 123 days long. It doesn't seem like it's been that long since the movie started shooting. They now start the long and tedious process of post-production.
I've got to say that I'm impressed with how little we know about this film project. There are no real story details for the film, and there has only been one photo from the set. As for the story, the only thing Jones has offered is this, "It's about both sides. It's going to be red and blue." He then explains that he wants the movie's audience to "feel for the Orc heroes as much as they do the Human ones." I can't wait to see something from this movie!
The cast of the film includes Ben Foster, Travis Fimmel, Paula Patton, Toby Kebbell, Rob Kazinsky, Dominic Cooper, Daniel Wu, and Clancy Brown. The initial script was written by Charles Leavitt and then rewritten by Jones. Warcraft is set to be released in 3D on March 11th, 2016.
