EA Reveals MIRROR'S EDGE CATALYST Trailer - E3 2015
We knew coming into this wonderful week of gaming that EA and DICE had more than just the Star Wars ace up their sleeve. Mirror's Edge is a fan favorite that has been begging for a new installment for years. And at their E3 2015 press conference, EA delivered the goods with a trailer built using the in-game engine showing off Faith's famous fluid motion.
It was announced that the game will explore Faith's story on how she became a runner, while also showcasing the amazing universe they built in the original. In a world where mankind has shed freedom for the comfort of a dystopian future run by corporations, a small group of activists are fighting back to free the minds of the citizens of this stark, sprawling, amazing city. And sprawling is the key, because there are no levels, no loading screens, just you and the rooftops. Free roam, baby!
I'll have more for you after my hands-on with the game tomorrow afternoon, but in the meantime, check out the trailer.
