Emilia Clarke Hypes GAME OF THRONES Season 6 With a Huge Promise
It's no surprise that one of Game of Thrones' cast members would try to get people interested in watching the next season of the massively successful HBO fantasy series, but this latest claim from Emilia Clarke might be one of the biggest I've ever heard an actor make about a particular show.
Here's what she said in a brief interview with E! News after the Golden Globes:
"I really can't say much apart from you'll see the biggest moments on television that have ever existed."
That's quite a high bar to set. I didn't love the previous season overall, though it did have some undeniably amazing episodes ("Hardhome," anyone?), so let's hope that next season lives up to the Khaleesi's promise. The fact that the showrunners are going beyond the storyline as established in George R.R. Martin's novels in season six makes me nervous, since the instances where they've gone "off-book" in the show's history have proven to be pretty divisive.
Game of Thrones returns (with or without Jon Snow) on April 24th.
