Emilia Clarke Officially Cast in TERMINATOR Reboot

We've got a quick update on Alan Taylor's Terminator reboot casting! Last week it was reported that Game of Thrones star Emilia Clarke was in the running to play Sarah Connor in the movie. Today that casting is official. It's not really that surprising as Taylor and Clarke worked together on HBO's Game of Thrones, and Clarke seemed to fit the role.

Clarke is going to be great in the role. She's a beautiful, strong woman who has proven she can kick some ass. She will possibly be joined by Jason Clarke, who is currently in negotiations to play her son John Connor. Of course there's going to be time travel involved, so don't worry about the whole age difference.

This is looking less and less likely of being a sequel to the other Terminator films. Everyone seems to be calling it a reboot, instead of Terminator 5. But who knows what they are planning for the story yet. I'm sure we'll find out what the deal is soon enough.
